Visual Designer, Email

We're looking for a flat-out awesome email designer/coder to kick all of our email strategy up a notch. You know that designing for 3-4 browsers is the bunny slopes, and you're prepared to do battle on the Diamond run with 19+ mail clients. You can design, and convert other designs into, tight 600px wide, table-only markup in your sleep. You'll need to know your way around ReturnPath or Litmus, or something similar, and be able to work in a team with our art director, strategist, editors, developers, and QA to keep the email flowing. And, as we all know, the email must flow.

Qualifications: 2+ years as a front-end web developer for high-traffic web sites. Experience and understanding of YUI, JQuery or other Javascript frameworks is desirable.

Sr. Visual Designer, Mobile

So it's time to get really serious about "Mobile." But you know this already. You've been there and done that. You're ready to dive in and help us design and engineer the *right* mobile presence for our product, and our audience, like yesterday. In fact, you're already thinking about what we'll need tomorrow when the iPad 4Gxyz comes out and blows all of our minds. You're comfortable working on a team with our art director, strategist, front, back, and middle developers, as well as systems guys, vendors, QA, and senior management. You're prepared to work with other teams to absorb the ins and outs of our product and distill our feature set into a reasonable, usable and engaging mobile experience. And of course, you can make it look great.

Qualifications: 2 - 4 years of web design experience at an agency and/or large media company. Expert level Photoshop and Illustrator. Excellent web production skills. BFA or Associates Degree in Design/Related Field

Digital Producer

Interactive One is seeking a Web Producer. This person will be responsible for full spectrum project planning, strategic development of new business and other necessary duties as part of the larger user experience design team.

Qualifications: 3 to 5 years managing creative teams and developing interactive projects. Knowledge of MS Project a must (collaborative communication tools a plus)

Front End Developer

Responsible for developing innovative, dynamic UI solutions, while delivering user interface components of our software, supporting our goal of providing a focused and highly valuable online community experience. This candidate will develop user interfaces for the websites adhering to client-side coding standards and best practices, and work closely with members of the user experience team and visual design team to achieve desired results.

Qualifications: 2+ years as a front-end web developer for high-traffic web sites; Must be a HTML/CSS expert and have strong experience with Javascript. Understanding of AJAX methodologies, YUI, JQuery or other Javascript libraries or frameworks. Experience with Flash & Actionscript, XML and XSLT is desirable. BA/BS Degree or equivalent related work experience.

PHP Software Engineer

The Software Engineer is responsible for monitoring, analyzing, evaluating and maintaining server side and middleware tires of our web applications utilizing LINUX. The ideal candidate will test, develop and compose units in collaboration with Quality Assurance Team. This person will work in a fast-paced and demanding environment and must have an eagerness to learn and implement new web technologies.

Qualifications: 2+ years of professional experience developing software for high-traffic web sites; proficiency with client side technologies such as JavaScript, AJAX, and server side technologies such as PHP, JSP or ASP. Also experience developing database driven web applications using a mainstream RDBMS such as Oracle or MySQL preferred. BS or MS Degree in Computer Science or related field. Sales Director, Chicago

This candidate will identify new clients and opportunities, prospecting, pursue leads and develop new client relationships, while effectively and aggressively managing all aspects of the sales cycle. The Sales Director will establish a pipeline of business and maintain an accurate forecast in Salesforce.com, negotiate contracts and close opportunities.

Qualifications: 2-4 years of online ad sales experience with a leading Web Portal or leading content publisher, plus an additional 2-4 years of traditional media sales experience -- print, broadcast, cable, etc, or marketing position. Bachelor's Degree or equivalent.

VP, Sales Operations & Solutions

The VP of Sales Operations & Solutions will manage ad operations for a network of sites (over 60 sites) and support advertising products and systems for local, national and cross-platform sales, while providing strategic insight into next generation ad products including lead generation, email, video, mobile and digital TV. This candidate will provide a high level of leadership to Sales in selling, developing, proposing, planning, executing, monitoring, and optimizing online advertising solutions.

Linux Systems Administrator

The System Administrator possesses not only strong technical skills in Linux, but has related web experience and experience leading small teams. The emphasis for this position is on higher-level planning and troubleshooting, analysis of systems architecture design, representing the Systems group in Interactive One, and in assist leading and shaping the System Administration team.

Qualifications: 7+ years of professional LINUX/UNIX systems administration. Mastery of multiple LINUX/UNIX variant OSs . Understanding of the principles of Disaster Recovery and experience implementing, managing, and evaluating disaster recovery plans. Complete applied understanding of TCP/IP networking and common networking protocols

MySQL DBA/Developer

Interactive One is seeking a MySQL DBA/developer with a minimum of 3 years experience.

You will be joining a team of highly motivated professionals, who utilize in-house and vendor-based technology to facilitate our business objectives. Interactive One is a fast paced, social networking, internet based company, with a database infrastructure that operates 24/7. Our department performs on the cutting edge of the latest MySQL and OS technology, opening up endless opportunities for professional growth. You should be a quick, enthusiastic learner, with great attention to detail. As part of the database administration team, you will also be required to participate in both periodic off-hours maintenance and an on-call rotation.

This position will report to Manager, Database Engineering and Business Intelligence and include the following key responsibilities:

Business Intelligence Engineer

Interactive One is seeking a Business Intelligence Engineer with a minimum of 3 years experience to work in a fast paced, cutting edge technology environment.

The ideal candidate will have a strong applied and theoretical understanding of decision trees, rule induction, nearest neighbor classification in addition to expert level competence with SQL, reporting, data warehousing, OLAP, and data visualization.

As a Business Intelligence Engineer at Interactive One you will be responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of all business intelligence applications. Fundamentally, the Business Intelligence Engineer will design and develop complex reports and reporting applications for a variety of stakeholders including Business Development, Advertising, Product, and the Chief Executive. You will work with principal stakeholders to define needed intelligence, identify opportunities for automation, and develop predictive models.

This position will report to Manager, Database Engineering and Business Intelligence and include the following key responsibilities:

Have over 3 years working in some data mining capacity
Have worked with one of the following: SAS, SPSS, Insightful, Oracle, Angoss, HNC, Unica
Have a Bachelors in Computer Science, Mathematics, or Applied Mathematics, or equivalent work experience
Have worked with Oracle, Sysbase, Informix, or DB2
Understand how to document and interpret business requirements
Understand ER diagrams, data models, and concept models

Sr. Analyst Finance and Digital Business Analytics

We are currently seeking a Sr. Analyst, Finance and Digital Business Analytics. This person will support the Director of Finance in managing all financial planning and analysis functions, including analysis of web metrics and competitive market analysis.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Assist with preparation of annual budget, quarterly forecast and monthly updates for both businesses.
Assist with review and investigation of P&L and balance sheet variances during month-end close.
Proactively identify and propose revenue generating and/or cost containment ideas, working in conjunction with department heads.
Assist senior management with specific financial analysis in order to achieve financial targets.
Extracting, tracking, reporting and analyzing site performance, audience and membership development, competitive data and other metrics from the web.
Identifying trends in traffic and site use and using them to develop traffic forecasts.
Generating regular and special reports and analyses.
Assisting with the development and implementation of performance metrics and dashboards.
Analysis of sales trends and performance by region and rep.
Analysis of CPM's and total revenue by site and ad placement to assess sales and profitability across categories, formats and channels.
Analysis of new business products and revenue streams for viability/profitability

Critical Competencies for Success:

A solid understanding of GAAP and financial reporting is required
A solid understanding of the metrics of internet publishers/advertisers including CPM, CPC and CPA advertising is important
Knowledge of web analytics software such as Omniture, Google Analytics etc.
Strong analytical and math skills, accurate and detailed oriented
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Excellent PC skills including Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint. Lawson and Hyperion experience a plus.

EDUCATION: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business required. MBA a plus.

EXPERIENCE: 5+ years of financial analysis experience with 2 + years of experience in digital media/publishing
