VP Sales Operations & Solutions

MANDATE: To provide a high level of leadership to Sales in selling, developing, proposing, planning, executing, monitoring, and optimizing online advertising solutions

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage ad operations for a network of sites (over 60 sites) and support advertising products and systems for local, national and cross-platform sales
  • Strategic insight into next generation ad products including lead generation, email, video, mobile and digital TV and involved with product organization to develop
  • Audience extension strategy and data strategy including behavioral capability and database marketing
  • Lead the traffic team, and indirect sales team.
  • Support SVP and CRO in managing the Account Execs.
  • Support and help manage Strategic Alliance and Performance deals
  • Determine and improve Advertising Product Management structure and process.
  • Collaborate with Product Development teams on Ad Products
  • Stay on top of industry trends and news and competitors capabilities
  • Organize and lead Sales training on Sales Operations
  • Manage compensation planning for all groups listed above.
  • Supervise management of our traffic serving relationships with partners such as Doubleclick
  • Manage outsource relationships with partners such as Operative and Theorem
  • Improve reporting compliance and response to Strategic Partnerships such as Monster
  • Manage and execute all ad sales campaigns to Campaign Summary and Performance reporting.
  • Maintain compliance and technical compatibility with industry ad products such as Rich media and our Rich Media contracts.
  • Determine and assure proper staffing levels in all above groups
  • Manage and maintain 100's of concurrent CPM and integrated internet advertising campaigns from start to finish.
  • Manage eCPM from Indirect sales against corporate goals
  • Additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.

  • Additional 3-6 years of traditional media experience -- print, broadcast, cable, etc.
  • Additional 2-5 years of experience managing teams in a multi-departmental organization.

Sales Director/Account Director

MANDATE: To manage the company account list and meet revenue goals. Oversee all aspect of client business and serve as the key company contact for client relationships.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Identify new client and opportunities, prospecting, pursuing leads and developing new client relationships.
  • Effectively and aggressively manager all aspects of the sales cycle
  • Establish a pipeline of business and maintain an accurate forecast in Salesforce.com
  • Negotiate contracts and closing opportunities

MySQL DBA/Developer

Interactive One is seeking a MySQL DBA/developer with a minimum of 3 years experience.

You will be joining a team of highly motivated professionals, who utilize in-house and vendor-based technology to facilitate our business objectives. Business Intelligence Engineer

Interactive One is seeking a Business Intelligence Engineer with a minimum of 3 years experience to work in a fast paced, cutting edge technology environment.

The ideal candidate will have a strong applied and theoretical understanding of decision trees, rule induction, nearest neighbor classification in addition to expert level competence with SQL, reporting, data warehousing, OLAP, and data visualization.

As a Business Intelligence Engineer at Interactive One you will be responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of all business intelligence applications. Fundamentally, the Business Intelligence Engineer will design and develop complex reports and reporting applications for a variety of stakeholders including Business Development, Advertising, Product, and the Chief Executive. You will work with principal stakeholders to define needed intelligence, identify opportunities for automation, and develop predictive models.

This position will report to Manager, Database Engineering and Business Intelligence and include the following key responsibilities:

  • Have over 3 years working in some data mining capacity
  • Have worked with one of the following: SAS, SPSS, Insightful, Oracle, Angoss, HNC, Unica
  • Have a Bachelors in Computer Science, Mathematics, or Applied Mathematics, or equivalent work experience
  • Have worked with Oracle, Sysbase, Informix, or DB2
  • Understand how to document and interpret business requirements
  • Understand ER diagrams, data models, and concept models
  • Be comfortable with data transformation and movement

Sr. Analyst Finance and Digital Business Analytics

We are currently seeking a Sr. Analyst, Finance and Digital Business Analytics. This person will support the Director of Finance in managing all financial planning and analysis functions, including analysis of web metrics and competitive market analysis.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist with preparation of annual budget, quarterly forecast and monthly updates for both businesses.
  • Assist with review and investigation of P&L and balance sheet variances during month-end close.
  • Proactively identify and propose revenue generating and/or cost containment ideas, working in conjunction with department heads.
  • Assist senior management with specific financial analysis in order to achieve financial targets.
  • Extracting, tracking, reporting and analyzing site performance, audience and membership development, competitive data and other metrics from the web.
  • Identifying trends in traffic and site use and using them to develop traffic forecasts.
  • Generating regular and special reports and analyses.
  • Assisting with the development and implementation of performance metrics and dashboards.
  • Analysis of sales trends and performance by region and rep.
  • Analysis of CPM's and total revenue by site and ad placement to assess sales and profitability across categories, formats and channels.
  • Analysis of new business products and revenue streams for viability/profitability

Critical Competencies for Success:

  • A solid understanding of GAAP and financial reporting is required
  • A solid understanding of the metrics of internet publishers/advertisers including CPM, CPC and CPA advertising is important
  • Knowledge of web analytics software such as Omniture, Google Analytics etc.
  • Strong analytical and math skills, accurate and detailed oriented
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Excellent PC skills including Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint. Lawson and Hyperion experience a plus.

EDUCATION: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business required. MBA a plus.

EXPERIENCE: 5+ years of financial analysis experience with 2 + years of experience in digital media/publishing
